Ally has been teaching guitar and recorder to both children and adults for longer than she cares to admit. She is still keen, however, to take on new students in both instruments.

Her attitude to music lessons is that music should, first and foremost, be fun. A happy student will practise more often and more willingly, and will become a better perfomer in the long run.

For guitar students, both private lessons and adult education classes are available. Each session a new evening class for beginners starts at Cockermouth School, and occasionally elsewhere as well.
