Steve Marshall and Ally McGurk are both fully qualified musical
instrument repairers (Stevenson College, Edinburgh) and we've been in business
here in the village of Crosby, near Maryport, Cumbria, since January 1997. We're not far
from the beautiful English Lake District, and when you visit our workshop you'll be
rewarded by magnificent views across the water to Scotland: you might even be
lucky enough to come when we're experiencing one of our glorious
sunsets!
Our workshop is in our home so we don't operate opening hours as such. We're often
available out-of-hours on evenings, weekends and bank holidays and can sometimes do
emergency repairs at odd times of the day.
Please phone first to make sure we're here - we'd hate to miss you!
We are full

BRASS & WOODWIND REPAIRS BY POST
Not everyone is lucky enough to have a musical instrument repair workshop nearby. Many
people have to travel to an instrument retailer, and a lot of these shops don't have their own
workshop, acting instead as simply an agent for repairers. They have to make a living, so
usually charge a fee to pass your instrument on to us.
You can deal directly with us, the repairers. Just phone us on
01900 813200 or
email us - tell us the problem and we'll tell you everything you need to get your
instrument safely to us.
We understand how musical instruments work!
It's quick and painfree, turnaround time is surprisingly short, and we're always available
at the end of the phone.
